Starting in 2013, StartupPOP has been running Pitch Events with Networking at locations in Boca Raton. We have run over 30 events for investors and startups in Boca Raton, FL, New York City, Aventura and Orlando Florida.

As of Fall 2024, StartupPOP will continue to run startup pitch events that are great for local startups to get attention and meet with investors and interested parties.

StartupPOP’s Mission is to build and support the startup and small business community. Startups create jobs & opportunities, and strengthen our communities.

Created as a way for entrepreneurs, young and old, to build, grow, and get exposure to investors. Investors, angels and VCs count on StartupPOP to find ‘diamonds in the rough,’ companies that with the right support could blossom into ‘the next big thing.’

For 10 years our 'shark tank style' Pitch Event has been the entry-point to South Florida's tech community. We've run +30 events, featured 500 startups, and typically up to 100 attendees and investors at each event.

One 2023 event featured startups that raised $350k and one raised $650k through a StartEngine CrowdFunding round as well. Some exited with acquisitions to companies like WIX. A recent pitch event featured 3 tech startups that have projected revenue of over $1M in 2023.
